The Directors and Academy Committee are seeking to appoint a positive and enthusiastic and flexible team player to be responsible for the maintenance and security of the school premises and site.

20 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in the following:

•  Security of the school site, including out of school hours, acting as the designated key holder for the school premises.
• Operate and regularly check systems such as heating, lighting, and CCTV and security alarms.
• Undertake minor repairs and maintenance of the buildings and site.
• Oversee onsite maintenance contractors, checking that work is completed to the required standards and timescales.
• Arrange emergency repairs.
• Monitor stock and other supplies.
• Undertake regular health and safety checks of buildings, grounds, fixtures and fittings and equipment (including compliance with fire safety regulations).
• Undertake general portage duties, including moving furniture and equipment in the school.
• Perform duties in line with health and safety and COSHH regulations and take action where hazards are identified.
• Support the Catholic values and ethos of the school.
