Job title: Supported Housing Scheme Manager
Team: Wellbeing
Overview of role:
We’re looking for a Supported Housing Scheme Manager to join our team to oversee the day-to-day management at Saxon Court, Solihull Community Housing’s extra care scheme in Chelmsley Wood. You’ll lead in the implementation of our policies, legislative and best practice requirements for the scheme to ensure we are compliant and keeping our residents safe.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the development of supported living for older people in north Solihull
As the Scheme Manager you will be an integral part of the Wellbeing team providing help and support to our residents. Your role is to effectively and professionally manage the scheme to ensure high quality housing related support to older and vulnerable people, promoting independence and providing a safe and secure environment for residents to live in.
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic candidate who will have the dedication and drive to create a ‘Lively Court’ ensuring an active and vibrant environment that will benefit both residents and the wider community
We are looking for individuals who are ready to take up an exciting and challenging role within our team. The person we are looking for will be an excellent communicator, have a good understanding and/or experience of Social Care or Support Services, good IT knowledge, be organised, motivated and a have a passion for working with elderly and vulnerable people. They will have a strong commitment to achieving both team and personal goals.
You’ll be directly responsible for the Activities Co Ordinator to ensure a range of opportunities are offered for residents and the wider community ensuring a range of diverse and interesting activities that help reduce social isolation
