About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as an Unqualified Primary School Teacher. This role is ideal for those who have a keen interest in education and working with children but may not yet have formal teaching qualifications. You will be provided with training, support, and professional development opportunities to help you grow into the role.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Has a genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Brings a proactive and positive attitude to the role. Works well both independently and as part of a team. Has experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, volunteering, mentoring) – desirable but not essential. Is willing to undertake training and professional development.

- Understands the importance of fostering a positive learning environment and promoting good behaviour.
- Celebrates diversity and values the unique backgrounds of our school community.
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy..
