About the role
This is a varied and exciting role with strategic, planning, creative and hands on aspects where you’ll be developing and delivering a Marketing and Communications Plan for Rugby Town Centre. This role is instrumental in bringing residents together through cultural festivals and community events whilst growing pride in everything great about the borough of Rugby.
Working with local businesses, community groups and organisations you’ll be coordinating and delivering a strong programme of events and supporting the marketing of activity through the current town centre branding “The Rugby Town”.
You’ll be using your strong relationship building skills to work closely with colleagues across all departments and external partners, representing us at steering groups, effectively managing stakeholders and attending meetings and events to effectively promote the town.
About you
You will need a Degree level qualification and / or significant experience in marketing or a closely related field, with experience of delivering outdoor events and creating and curating for various marketing channels.
Excellent strategic and political awareness is required to help you work positively and constructively with internal and external stakeholders, as well as a sound knowledge and application of marketing research methods.
A Full valid driving licence is essential for this position.
