Do you want to make a difference for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in our society?  

We have a great opportunity for a Placement Finder to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in finding homes for children and young people, including foster care, residential homes and supported accommodation settings.

Main Responsibilities
Working in a busy but rewarding team where all homes are found for Children in our Care, both planned and on an emergency basis. 

You'll work closely with other team members alongside colleagues across the Local Authority including Social Workers and other relevant professionals, to ensure our children are at the centre of our approach in finding them the best possible home we can.  We proactively engage in conversations with providers on a daily basis, meaning it's important to be able to build a positive relationship with colleagues and stakeholders alike.

Information gathering, accurate record keeping, attention to detail and having restorative conversations while remaining child-centred at all times are crucial parts of our work. 

The Office hours are: Monday- Thursday 8:30am -5pm, Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm - 37 hours per week. 

This is a hybrid role with an option to work both remotely and from our office location in Stafford, with a minimum office presence of at least one day per week to be discussed with the successful candidate.  There is the possibility of the role being made permanent.
