Extended School Support TA (22.5 hours per week)

Required for November 2017


We are seeking to appoint a Play Worker to join our successful school to support our vision for high quality Extended Schools Provision in our before and after school care club.

 

 Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 6:00pm; however the successful applicant would need to be flexible if hours needed to be adjusted on occasion. During school holiday periods weekly hours will be condensed to cover longer days as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant who will have the responsibility for:

Assisting the Senior Play Workers in the day to day running of the club ensuring high quality provision is in place

Assisting with weekly planning to ensure consistency with school links offering a wide and varied

range of activities

Ensuring that the children are stimulated through play in a safe and friendly environment

It is essential that the post holder holds a relevant level 2 qualification either NNEB, NVQ in Child Care / Play Work or equivalent.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
