Warwickshire County Council is looking to recruit a Property Records/GIS Technician to work within the Strategic Asset Management Service. The Strategic Asset Management Service is responsible for managing the Councils property and land, ensuring that buildings are well utilised, maintained, operate effectively and develop innovative strategies to ensure best value.
37.0 Hours per Week
Based within Warwick, the Strategic Asset Management Service is made up of property professionals and requires, innovative and responsive technical support. The Property Records/GIS Technician will report to the Strategy Policy and Performance Manager. The post holder will be responsible for providing efficient and effective technical GIS support; analysis and property information management to support strategic decision making.
We are looking for an experienced GIS Technician who is able to work under pressure. Experience of using AutoCad and SQL Reporting would also be advantageous. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who may have previous experience in property related environment. The role requires excellent communication and co-ordination skills as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment and deal with the unexpected.
