Uttoxeter Leisure Centre seek a hardworking individual to assist in our busy and successful catering department.

You will be joining a relatively new team following a multi million pound refurbishment at Uttoxeter Leisure Centre. The catering facility was added to the service when it reopened to the public in January 2015 and has been developing ever since. If successful you will create and serve food to the facility users, ensure the department upholds its high quality of cleanliness and attention to detail, whilst also offering outstanding customer service.

In order to be considered for this role, you will hold a relevant food hygiene certificate, have prior experience in a similar role and be a customer focussed individual.

This role requires someone who can remain calm in a potentially busy environment. Prior experience in a similar role is a must, with some experience in cash handling and food preparation.

The hours of work are an average of 24.87 hours per week working alternating shifts.

East Staffordshire Borough Council has a commitment to the Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check.
