PA to Director of Public Health
35 hours per week.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Public Health Team at Worcestershire County Council. A new Public Health Directorate was formed in July 2016, following 3 years of integration with a far larger Directorate of Adult Services and Health. There is now a single Directorate of Public Health, led by a part-time Director of Public Health who is a member of the Council's Strategic Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive.
We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Directors Personal Assistant with a 'can do' attitude to join the team. You will work closely with all members of the Public Health Team to support delivery of the County Council public health duties. You will need to be a flexible and professional individual and be able to multi-task with a positive and proactive approach. You will manage and assist the Public Health Administrators in providing an exceptional level of business support for the whole team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident PA to progress within a friendly and nurturing working environment. You will have excellent engagement and organisational skills and want to enable the Public Health team to deliver better health outcomes and reduce health inequalities in Worcestershire. We are committed to developing our staff and you will be able to develop a personal development plan with use of up to 5 days of protected study leave to strengthen core skills or develop other skills within public health.
