We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic manager to teach and manage on our citywide Active Learning programme for people with learning disabilities/difficulties.

You will join a committed and experienced team delivering accredited courses for a range of abilities.

You will have knowledge of planning and managing a learning programme for people with learning disabilities/difficulties.

You will manage tutors and learning support assistants.

You will need up to date curriculum knowledge and understand the needs of learners with learning disabilities/difficulties.

You will need a level four qualification in teaching, experience in teaching people with learning disabilities/difficulties and a relevant subject qualification at level three or above. You also need level two qualifications in literacy/English and numeracy/maths.

Working Pattern

Mon-Fri daytime, could include up to two evenings per week. 37hrs per week – 41 weeks per year
