This post is based with the councils Adult and Community Learning Team. Who using a number of funding streams deliver post 19 learning to residents within the borough

To provide a comprehensive administrative and Teaching and Learning support service to the Adult and Community Learning division.

Manage on aday to day basis, the provision of administrative functions within the division, in relation to quality assurance in line with Skills Funding Agency and Ofsted requirements.

Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
Able to demonstrate excellent numerical and verbal reasoning skills and literacy skills e.g. by qualification or testing
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and use a wide range of current ICT systems and packages
Knowledge of workforce and organisational development
Evidence of taking responsibility for work allocation and its successful completion

Significant demonstrable experience of working in a business environment including at a senior level with external funding and software package experience
Experience of advising and supporting managers on the interpretation of divisional / directorate, organisational and external policies and procedures
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Level 2 Information Officer Qualification (or willing to learn)
Commitment and willingness to undertake further training, assessment and development dependent upon existing qualifications and requirements to the post
