Wanted, an inspirational leader committed to delivering better outcomes for children. You will manage the Assessment & Intervention team North & East of the County. Ensuring the team provides high quality initial response services for Child in Need, Child Protection, Court and Looked After Services with local children, young people and families. Recruit, train and develop staff, so they are able to provide services that meet statutory duties and provide services as set out by the Children & Families procedures.

Key Requirements

  • Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW)) 
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience in multi-agency partnership working
  • Substantial experience in supervising qualified social work staff  
  • Experience of contributing to or leading policy/service development in Children's Services
