You will be part of a team of invigilators responsible for supervising and administering exams.
Under the guidance of a senior invigilator you will start, oversee and finish examinations as necessary. Assisting with the preparation of the examination venue, completion of relevant paperwork and the monitoring and management of conduct. Hours will vary, with the bulk of GCSE examinations falling in May and June. To be eligible, you must have no other commitments during this period. Additional exams take place throughout the year.
As an exam invigilator you will need to possess good organisational and administration skills, and be confident supervising large exam cohorts. Punctuality and the ability to work flexible hours are also of key importance.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for the role.
