We are looking for a well-motivated and enthusiastic applicant to join our team of very dedicated staff, in delivering beautiful nourishing school meals to our pupils.

Someone with great enthusiasm to continue to drive our catering service forward and make dinner time a happy occasion for our children.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the catering arrangements at the School.

Duties will include:

  • preparing and cooking nourishing meals for pupils, in line with recommended menus
  • planning and controlling all aspects of the service including costing,                                       stocktaking and keeping appropriate records
  • cooking for large numbers
  • a knowledge of how to assist in lunchtime supervision, including organisation                                       of the dining room before and after meal times

The successful applicant will be required to hold or undertake training for Level 2 Food hygiene certificate plus City & Guilds 706/1 706/2 or equivalent (full training will be given to the successful applicant, if required).
