This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Art teacher to join our specialist staff team. This post offers a unique opportunity to embed Art as a subject and as a therapeutic tool within the school.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates. As an inspirational Teacher, applicants will have the energy and vision to lead and showcase Art within the school and the wider community.
The ideal candidate will:
- be an experienced Art Teacher;
- have experience of delivering Art at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 BTEC Level 2/GCSE
- be a committed team player;
- have the ability to engage and inspire pupils;
- be committed to our ethos of high expectations.
All staff are committed to putting the students first, ensuring they achieve in all aspects of their learning. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic classroom practitioner with a keen interest in the well-being of young people who has experience, excellent organisation and ICT skills.
The school provides a continuation of Education for pupils who due to emotional and psychological, medical or mental health issues are unable to attend mainstream or special school.
