Legal Services continues to be accredited with the Law Society’s standard in excellence in legal practice management and client care.

Hours: 37 per week Fixed Term Contract (18 months)

Salary: Grade 11 (£36,937 – £39,660 ) per annum

Location: 4 Ednam Road, Dudley

We require an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor/Barrister to support the Council’s Adult Social Care Service area on an 18 month fixed term contract.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day provision of an efficient and effective legal service to the Council, its Members and Officers.

Occasional court attendance will be required to represent the Council on Adult Social Care matters.
Applicants should have adult social care law and general litigation law experience.

The ability to work well within a team is essential as is the ability to demonstrate the following practical skills: Excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills.
