Warwick District Council is seeking an enthusiastic manager to lead a team encompassing projects, economic development and support for businesses and events.

This role has been created to assist the Council to deliver its future aspirations for growth, a strong and resilient economy and good quality development. To help deliver this, the Council is undertaking or considering an ambitious range of projects and is keen to explore others which can support the economy and prosperity of the District. It also supports a wide number of events of local and national importance across the district, and provides support to local businesses.

Warwick District Council is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Development Services team at this pivotal time for the area.  

Are you an experienced and qualified development professional with management experience looking to progress your career?  Do you have a strong track record of successfully delivering projects, managing events and/or providing economic development and business support?  Can you combine this with excellent communication skills, political sensitivity, a proven ability to manage complex work, experience of working with/influencing a range of stakeholders, an ability meet deadlines and an enthusiasm to deliver high quality development and business support?

If so, this role provides an exciting opportunity to shape the work of the team in a District experiencing significant development pressures and opportunities.  The District boasts a vibrant economy, a range of nationally recognised heritage assets such as Warwick and Kenilworth Castles; historic towns; diverse countryside; a vibrant economy and intense development pressures.
