Worcestershire County Council has an established Transformational change programme, which has delivered over £150m of efficiencies over the last few years. The County Council is now investing in additional capacity to help lead the organisation through its change journey to deliver further efficiencies, whilst continuing to support Worcestershire residents and businesses, over the next 3 years.
There are a number of opportunities available for Project Managers.
The current broad programme of change includes: Management and delivery of the Children's Social Care Service Improvement Plan / Embedding new approaches in Adults Social Care, including our move to a strengths based model / A detailed property programme working with our partners / A number of other key strategic and cross cutting priorities such as ICT, HR&OD, Finance, and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and corporate governance.
We are looking for highly self-motivated and qualified professionals to join our high performing programme teams. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate considerable experience of successfully delivering change using project and programme management methodologies within large and complex organisations, such as PRINCE2, MSP and be qualified practitioners with these or equivalent and relevant professional credentials. Significant experience in stakeholder engagement and management is also crucial.
