Customer Service Assistant / Receptionist

Salary:  £17,419 - £19,430 per annum (pro rata)

37 Hours per week – Permanent

The Registration Service is part of Staffordshire County Council’s Customer Service function. The job of a Customer Service Assistant / Receptionist can be very rewarding. It demands high standards of accuracy, an eye for detail and the willingness to work within a legal framework, and above all the ability to be sensitive and flexible to the needs of the public.

We are looking for a positive individual who has experience of working in a front facing customer focused environment. You will be required to provide registration services support and enable customers to access the services they require and to support staff to efficiently deliver the service.

You should be enthusiastic, professional and flexible, and committed to providing excellent customer service and achieving high quality standards.

We are looking to recruit a dedicated individual based at Newcastle Registration Office and you will be required to travel between Registration Offices and other locations in Staffordshire.
