Social Worker, Adoption and Fostering Recruitment and Training

Salary: £30,153 - £34,538 per annum (pro rata)
Grade 9 Location: Stafford
An exciting vacancy has arisen to work within the Adoption and Fostering Recruitment and Training team. This is a county-wide role and the post-holder will be required to work flexibly, including some evening and weekend activities on a planned basis.
We are looking for a Social Worker to join our highly experienced team. The ideal applicant will be child centred and have a good knowledge of Fostering and Adoption. The post holder will need to be dynamic, creative and able to present to large groups. They will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the recruitment challenges for fostering and adoption agencies.
Key aspects of the role will include training, assessments, chairing annual reviews, supporting the retention of Foster Carers, supporting events for Foster Carers including, BBQ’s, Christmas Parties, Long Service awards etc. You would also be involved with our general recruitment activity involving taking calls on the enquiry line and going out on our recruitment bus.
You must be a qualified social worker with previous experience of fieldwork with children and/or foster carers.
