Finance Assistant (Grade 5)
Salary: £17,419 - £19,430 per annum (pro rata)
37 Hours per week – Permanent
As part of a small team, the role includes a variety of duties but principally administration work resulting from early education funding. A significant proportion of the work will relate to the day to day processing of claims.
Applicants should ideally be studying toward or already have an AAT qualification with a minimum of two years experience working in a financial environment (candidates without the AAT qualification who can demonstrate relevant experience will be considered).
The candidate will be provided with all necessary training but will need to possess good organisational skills to ensure work is undertaken in an efficient manner to meet payment deadlines. Other duties include processing purchase orders and generating and inputting of internal charges.
