An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll, Pensions and Systems Partner to join an innovative and progressive Council. The role will be an integral member of Dudley MBC’s team, delivering the Customer Connect element of a wider Transformational Programme, managing all operational aspects of the Payroll and Pensions Service.

Hours:  37 per week

Salary:  Grade 10 (£33,106 - £36,019) per annum

You will be responsible for the timely, accurate production of a number of payrolls to agreed deadlines, the effective management and secure operation of relevant systems and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant legislation and best practice. The role is pivotal to ensure delivery of consistent HR transactions for all Council Directorates, Schools, Academies and external bodies that purchase these services from the Council.

You will be responsible for the timely, accurate production of a number of payrolls to agreed deadlines, the effective management and secure operation of relevant systems and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant legislation and best practice. The role is pivotal to ensure delivery of consistent HR transactions for all Council Directorates, Schools, Academies and external bodies that purchase these services from the Council. You will be an experienced Payroll, Pensions and Systems Manager. You will have significant experience in a management role of running a payroll and pensions function for at least 10,000 payroll records. We are looking for an experienced CIPP qualified staff manager who can demonstrate a thorough knowledge of payroll/pensions legislation.
