Operations Manager, Assurance
The purpose of the Safeguarding, Quality and Assurance Service service is to :
Improve the quality of practice through;
• the oversight, scrutiny and monitoring of service delivery,
• support and development of social workers
• the delivery of professional leadership, advice and support to Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board partners.
The Operations Manager-Assurance is an exciting new role which is responsible for managing the Local Authority Designated Officer service (LADO) which is responsible for overseeing the management of allegations against those who work in a position of trust and for the Practice Learning and Assurance Team which is responsible for ensuring that learning from practice is disseminated and practice is assured through a range of auditing activities.
37.0 Hours per Week
We are looking for a committed and motivated manager who is able to use their managerial skills to develop the services and to use their analytical skills to draw out learning from practice and ensure it is disseminated and supports changes in social work practice and systems. This role provides a key opportunity to be at the forefront of developing and improving practice to improve outcomes for children and families.
