Working Pattern

The Family Group Conferencing Team is a growing team within the Children and Families Business Unit. The team take referrals from Social Care and Early Help teams, working with the wider family group with a focus on avoidance of children coming into care and reduction of dependency on specialist services. The team aim to increase family capacity and resilience, and enable family members to develop a safe plan for the children in their family. Warwickshire’s Family Group Conferencing Team are accredited by the Family Rights Group, one of a small number of teams across the country to gain this accreditation.

The Role

37.0 Hours per Week

Fixed term until March 2020

There are 3 roles available and at the following sites:

Saltisford Office Park, Ansell Way, Warwick
Oakfield Park, Bilton Road, Rugby
The Hilary Road Centre, Hilary Road, Nuneaton

The role of the Family Group Conference Co-ordinator is to work with families at the edge of care , to conduct Family Group Conference and reviews to enable families to develop safe plans for the children in their family.
