An exciting opportunity has arisen within Worcester City Council’s Arboriculture Team. We are looking for an Arborist who is physically fit, used to working outdoors, keen to learn and a genuine enthusiasm of modern arboriculture.

We are looking for a person with the qualifications and relevant experience to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be part of a small team working in and around the local authority boundaries maintaining the City’s tree stock. You will respond to enquiries by the general public, inspecting tree stock for health and possible defects. You will be responsible for general maintenance of chainsaws and associated machinery.

Duties will include arboreal works, driving, towing, ground works and chipping work.

Applicants must have:

- NPTC Chainsaw tickets: New- 201, 202, 203, 2013 and Level 3 Award in Aerial Pruning with a Chainsaw Using Free-fall Techniques (Old- Cs 30.1, 30.2, Cs 31, Cs38 and Cs39)

- 2 years industry experience

- General arboricultural experience

- Full UK driving license



It would be desirable for you, as the applicant, to have:

- C1+E driving license

- First Aid training

- NPTC: 307 and 309 (Old-Cs 40 and 41)
