Part Time (20 hours per week) Caretaker
Permanent Post/All Year Round Contract
The Governing Body of Quarry Bank Primary School is seeking to appoint a part time caretaker. Applications are invited from people with high expectations and a commitment to working as part of the school premises team to maintain our school and its grounds as a safe, high quality and welcoming learning environment for pupils, staff and others working in and visiting our school.
The working day during school term time is to primarily be worked 2.45 pm to 6.00 pm (Monday to Thursday inclusive) and 10.00 am to 5.20 pm (20 minute break) (Friday) (20 hours per week). However flexibility is required depending upon the needs of the service. Working hours/pattern of working may vary in holiday periods and/or when occasions may arise eg severe weather or absence cover; some variation, by its nature, may be at short notice/some however planned.
Ideally candidates should have experience of working within an educational setting and must have secure knowledge of health, safety and site security matters. Liaison with site manager and premises team will be essential to ensure smooth running of school in this context.
