A NEW AND INNOVATIVE DISABILITY SERVICE IS LAUNCHING IN DUDLEY IN SUMMER 2018.
Assistant Team Managers x 4
(Different disciplines: Adults, Children’s & Special Educational Needs)
Hours: 37 hours per week
The Dudley Disability Service will provide a seamless support service for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Developing new integrated working across Adults, Children’s Social Care and SEND – an exciting new delivery approach.
We are looking for four dynamic, forward thinking individuals to form part of our new leadership team. Shaping the future and making a real difference to the people of Dudley.
The successful candidates will have practical experience of delivering good quality services in one or more of the following specialist areas:
- Social care services for children;
- Social care services for adults; and
- Special educational needs services for children and young people.
Social care applicants will be on the HCPC register for qualified social workers, and have significant experience of providing good quality social care services. SEN applicants will have substantial recent experience in education services and of delivering the SEND agenda.
All four posts will be managing multi-disciplinary teams, consisting of children’s and adults social care, and SEN. Each will provide professional expertise and accountability in their own discipline to both staff in their own team, and to staff in other multi-disciplinary teams, in a matrix style of management.
