The standard working week is 37 hours. Subject to the requirements of the service, the working week of individual employees may be arranged over a 7 day period, including weekends

We are looking for individuals who are committed to developing the highest levels of innovative and creative practice with children and families to help them achieve good outcomes.

We are committed to a strength based approach to social work and have invested in training all staff in Restorative Practice.

We invite suitably experienced and qualified applications for Social Worker positions in our Looked After Children and Children in Need/ Child Protection Services.

You will have:

• Dedication to working directly with children and families to ensure that their voices are heard and their needs are met

• A strong commitment to making a difference by ensuring the best outcomes for children and families

• The ability to be able to work with colleagues and deliver evidence-based approaches within your practice.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills

• The ability to work with partners and other agencies

• Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) registration.

These posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Previously unsuccessful candidates need not apply.

As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to undertake:

o A Children’s panel interview

o A written exercise

o A panel interview
