Class Teacher with SEND experience to become SENCo at the school

The successful candidate will:

Be an excellent qualified teacher;

Hold the National Award for SENCO / be prepared to work to gain this award;

Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessments;

Have knowledge of the new SEND Code of Practice;

Have the ability to articulate and demonstrate the characteristics of effective planning, teaching and learning and assessment strategies for all abilities;

Have experience of / willingness to learn the writing and reviewing of Educational Health and Care Plans, My Plans etc.
