Team Coordinator Supervision and Support: Fostering North

Salary:  £36,153- £39,961 per annum

37 Hours per week – Permanent

Staffordshire County Council Fostering Service is recruiting a Team Coordinator to be located at Stafford and work across the county supporting the function of the Fostering North Team.

Your role will be to work with foster carers and key partners to promote the sufficiency and stability of foster placements ensuring that safe, caring families are well matched with children in care who need a foster placement.  You will take a lead role for key areas such as managing and supporting foster carers who are subject to the formal allegations and concerns process.

You will have case management responsibility for the more complex cases and will co-work cases with less experienced staff. You will be available to offer advice, support and consultation to team members. You will need a Social Work Qualification and you should have at least three years post qualification experience working with foster carers and children in care.  You will need to demonstrate relevant experience of supervision and team development.
