The Regulatory Services is looking for a creative, self-motivated person, able to manage a diverse and challenging workload to join their Public Health and Licensing Team as a Licensing Officer. The role will involve processing licence applications and regulatory activities (e.g. investigating complaints, inspecting premises), mainly for taxi and driver licenses, but will also be required for alcohol, gambling and other licenses.
The Licensing Team is involved in a wide variety of interesting and challenging services including:
• Taxi and drivers
• Animal establishments
• Scrap metal
The role is specialist and requires current or previous knowledge of licensing.
