About Us

 

We are a busy frontline team working in Child Protection, Court Work, Children in Need and Looked After Children and as you can imagine, no two days are the same.  We are made up of an Operations Manager, Team Managers, Social Workers, Social Care Workers and Administrative staff.

 

We are looking for a Team Administrator to join us.

The Role

37.0 Hours per Week

Fixed Term Contract to April 2019

Managing the admin function you’ll provide supervision and management of the administrative staff ensuring resources are shared to enable us to provide a quality service.  Undertaking recruitment activity; providing feedback on performance; undertake appraisals and identify training needs for admin staff are all part of your role.  You’ll develop efficient processes; take responsibility for all office services and undertake a significant amount of a range of financial tasks.  In addition you’ll undertake other duties as required.

Key Requirements

 

To be successful in this role you’ll need previous management experience; excellent planning and organising skills, used to managing conflicting priorities as well as strong analytical; problem solving and budgetary skills.  With superb communication skills you’ll be used to managing a variety of relationships providing a first class customer service and are resilient and flexible.  In addition you’ll be used to working within a team as well as on your own initiative; can handle confidential information with tact and discretion and are familiar with Word, Excel and other IT databases.  Experience of working within a Children's Safeguarding environment would be an advantage.
