Emergency Wellbeing Officer

We are currently recruiting for an emergency wellbeing officer. The successful candidate will provide cover for both Nuneaton and Bedworth responding to emergency calls when alerted by our control Centre.
We are looking for someone to provide an emergency call-out service to individual residents of our Independent Living Service when alerted by our control centre.
The job entails being on standby, out of normal hours, in accordance with a pre-determined rota, and to attend the appropriate scheme on receipt of the alert.
Payment will be a fixed standby allowance of £30.27 per shift with additional payment of £9.18 per hour for call-outs (minimum payment for first call-out of 2 hours).
This will be 4 shifts (approx 74 hours) per calendar month by pre-determined rota.
You should have
- The ability to work under own supervision using initiative to deliver services and uses initiative to find appropriate solutions.
- Empathy and understanding for the needs of our tenants.
- A calm and organised approach
- A knowledge of Nuneaton and Bedworth.
- A full driving licence
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
