This post is salary structured to encourage career development, subject to satisfactory performance. Progression beyond spinal point 17 of the salary scale will be subject to the recommendation of the ICT Manager and fulfilment of the following criteria:

Possession of at least 18 months service on ICT Helpdesk

Proven ability to deal with a full and varied range of support calls and issues faced by staff and members

A history of exemplary conduct.

Ideally the Post holder will have some experience of first line support but not essential and be qualified to H.N.D. level in Computing or studying for an appropriate degree in Computing or a recognised ICT qualification

This post is a 37 hour per week post with Flexitime.
