Finance and Support Officer (Horton St Michael's CE VC First School)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance and Support Officer (Grade 6) to join our team. This is a term-time position with working hours of 18 per week; the work pattern is subject to negotiation.

The post-holder will be responsible for the operation of all aspects of Finance and Human Resources and will have overall administrative responsibility for our Nursery provision. Knowledge and experience of PSF Finance, ParentPay, MyView HR and Nursery/Early Education Funding systems would be preferable. However, ongoing training will be available. There will be occasions when the post-holder will handle telephone calls and deal with parents and visitors to the school; therefore good communication skills, tact, diplomacy and confidentiality will be essential. We are a small, rural school with approximately 90 children on roll, including 16 children in our nursery provision. The children who attend our school are well behaved, fun to be with and eager learners and their families are strong supporters of our school. Our staff are supportive of one another and we believe in working together to ensure that our school is the best that it can be. We have fantastic grounds which include outdoor learning areas for each class, a forest, a pond and an allotment and we use all of these to enhance the learning experiences of the children.
