Corley Centre is a secondary special school for children with complex social and communication difficulties. A significant number of students have an autism diagnosis. Students bring a range of abilities and aspirations, special educational needs, vulnerabilities, challenges and behaviours. Student attainment covers the full National Curriculum and GCSE range.

The school has been awarded NAS Autism Accreditation and a comprehensive package of training will be provided for all new staff.

Governors are seeking a highly driven and creative teacher to deliver our Nurture curriculum to a small group of Year 8 students from September until the Spring Term and from then on teach PSHCE/Life Skills across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a permanent position but will require someone who is prepared to be flexible for the first year while some curriculum changes take place.

The Nurture curriculum includes English and Drama, Maths, Science, Computing, PSHCE and Humanities, with support provided by specialist Subject Leaders.
