Part-time 28 ½ hours
Monday:12.30pm to 5pm, Tuesday to Friday: 11am to 5pm
Working as part of a team of Customer Service Advisors, you will be responding to a range of enquiries about council tax, housing tenancies, environmental issues, the electoral roll, licensing, parking, community safety and so on. To do this, you will need to be capable of developing your knowledge of all services provided by the council and will need to have a mind-set that is focused on delivering consistently good customer care.
You must have experience of using customer service centre technology; both Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. You will need to be good at communicating with customers face to face and over the telephone and able to deal with their enquiries efficiently. Good keyboard skills are essential.
We are committed to ensuring that customers can access and pay for services using a method that works for them so that’s where you come in. Whether they email, telephone or come in to see us, you will be able to interact with them in a diplomatic, credible and supportive way. If you have experience of working in a busy customer service environment and are familiar with inputting and accessing customer information using these systems then we would like to hear from you.
