As Nurture Leader you will work directly with students across the school who experience a range of needs and challenges (social, emotional and behavioural). You will play a leading role in the development of nurture principles to ensure that barriers to learning are reduced and support students to achieve their full potential. To provide support to students through a carefully structured timetable which balances learning, affection and discipline within a caring atmosphere; coordinating the day to day running of the nurture group.

John Gulson Primary School is a large and popular Primary School near the centre of Coventry. The school serves a vibrant, wide ranging multi-cultural community. The appointed person will be part of a dedicated team that is working on building on our current success and move towards outstanding.

We are looking for a qualified teacher that has experience of:
• planning and working as part of a team
• teaching in a primary school
• supporting children with social and emotional difficulties
• working with children with SEND
• working within a nurture provision (is desirable).
