Early Years Workers - Moseley Primary School
Moseley Primary School prides itself in providing an exceptionally high standard of childcare across the Early Years and has achieved an excellent reputation in the local community based on this. Dynamos is an oversubscribed setting for 2 and 3 year olds. Since opening in 2016, our well-resourced, purpose designed room enables children to access high quality provision and the best level of care. Dynamos compliments our well established Nursery perfectly and we are very proud of our Early Years provision.
We are looking for three exceptional candidates to join our Early Years team working across Nursery and Dynamos to provide flexible care for 2 to 4 year olds. Please note that whilst initially in Dynamos or Nursery, this role may require deployment across the rest of the school.
You will be employed directly by the school, and under the direction of the Assistant Head, you will work as part of the team to deliver exciting and appropriate play, learning and development opportunities for children in a safe and caring environment and ensure all welfare requirements are being adhered to.
You will need to hold a minimum of a NVQ Level 2 qualification (or higher) in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent as defined by the Teaching Agency (DfE) and have experience and comprehensive knowledge of: Ofsted requirements and standards, EYFS Statutory Framework and Development Matters.
Start Date: September 2018
37 hours per week, term time only + 5 teacher training days. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.15 am – 4.15 pm.
