Housing Adaptations Officer
An opportunity has arisen for an Adaptations Officer to join our Environmental Health Team, dealing with all aspects of the Disabled Facilities Grant Process.
The successful applicant will be responsible for processing applications for Disabled Facilities Grants; including carrying out statutory tests of resources, preparing schedules of work, checking quality of work, and liaising with clients and all relevant stakeholders.
The post holder will need skills and experience necessary to provide technical advice and guidance to advise on legislation and financial assistance relating to Disabled Facilities Grants. You will need to be self motivated, organised and committed to deliver an exceptional customer focused service with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. You should posses excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret legislation. The successful applicant should also possess the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
