Social Work L&D Advisor/Educator – Supporting Children & Adult Social Work

35 hours per week

We launched our Social Work Academy in January this year.  There's never been a more exciting time to join our Academy Team alongside making a difference to the lives of people in Worcestershire. The Social Work Academy offer social workers a career development pathway with access to high quality and diverse continuous professional development (CPD). 

This is an exciting role, offering the right candidate an opportunity to further develop their skills and knowledge across Children and Adults Social Work and remain up-to-date with the national, regional and local social work developments and research. You will be supporting, developing, coaching and mentoring Social Workers within the Children and Adult Social Work workforce through their career development pathway.

As part of the Social Work Academy Team, you will be responsible for researching, co-producing, designing, disseminating and facilitating a range of creative and innovative learning and development activities and interventions and solutions to improve the practice, knowledge and skills of all social workers in Worcestershire. Also implement the lessons learned from complaints, audits and serious case reviews.  You will be working across all four faculties (Student, ASYE, Professional Development and Advance Professional) of the Social Work Academy.
