Nursery Teaching Assistant - Cooper Perry Primary School
Cooper Perry Primary School
Full time – 35.0 hours - Teaching Assistant in Nursery – Grade 3
To start - September 2018
A unique opportunity has arisen to become part of a forward thinking team at Cooper Perry Primary School. Governors are looking to employ a teaching assistant to work in our Governor-run Nursery provision. This will involve working alongside the teacher with rising three year-olds, in the setting of our EYFS unit which is shared with Reception.
Our Primary School is situated in the village of Seighford near Stafford. Our school motto is Aim high, Believe in yourself and Celebrate success together. Our Nursery class currently educates twenty two children operating morning, wrap-around and afternoon sessions commensurate with the 30-hour offer.
Our school was judged a “Good School” by Ofsted in December 2016 and we are very proud of this judgement. All staff are committed to making sure we provide every child with a memorable and fulfilling experience of primary school where they are given the opportunities to learn and grow as individuals in a safe and secure environment.
The person appointed will have experience of supporting children in the EYFS, preferably in a school setting. They will have NVQ Level 2 as a minimum and a willingness to train to NVQ Level 3 if required. We hope to recruit a knowledgeable team-player to join our EYFS workforce.
Candidates are encouraged to visit the school and Nursery during the weeks beginning 21st May 2018 and 5th June 2018. Please contact the school office on 01785 282210 to arrange an appointment and we will gladly show you around the school we are all so proud of.
