Made up of Meadowside, Uttoxeter & Shobnall Leisure Centres, the Brewhouse Arts Centre, Burton Market Hall, Burton Town Hall, parks & open spaces and Sports Development, Cultural Services offers a variety of opportunities to further your career.
The role is based at the Meadowside Leisure Centre and the café is a busy and integral part of the leisure centre functions. Along with managing the day to day operation of the café, including food preparation, staff rota's, stock management, income and expenditure, you will also manage the catering team.
You must hold a relevant qualification in Catering or Hotel management.
You should have previous experience in a supervisory position, managing/directing staff and dealing with customers, working with budgets, planning/developing and implementing programmes and marketing schemes, cash handling, excellent customer care skills.
The hours of work are 20 per week, 9.00am to 1.00pm, Monday to Friday (including Bank Holidays). You should be flexible to work weekends if required.
