Worcester is a fantastic city with a fantastic future. The City Council has adopted a ground breaking Worcester City Plan 2016 - 2021 which will increase the profile and attractiveness of the City with visitors, businesses, residents and partners. We have embarked on an ambitious programme of change and committed ourselves to becoming an excellent council through the Investors in Excellence standard and adopted a Commercial Strategy to help transform our business.

We now need a Head of Property and Asset Management who will bring a strategic focus to our diverse portfolio of assets. Ranging from the 18th Century Guildhall to offices, car parks, depots, markets, museums, parks and tourist attractions and ensure that our buildings remain fit for purpose well into the future.

You will be responsible for maintaining an asset register of over 300 assets, managing related maintenance and utilities budgets, ensuring health and safety of our premises, managing property-related change projects and securing day-to-day facilities management. You will also have an eye on potential development sites for acquisition and disposal and will ensure that our commercial properties deliver the right return on our investment.
