A vacancy has arisen for a Revenue Clerk within the Sundry Debtors team of the Revenue and Benefits Services Division as follows.

Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Old Court Buildings, Priory Street, Dudley
An opportunity has arisen to join Revenue and Benefit Services. We are looking to appoint a full time Revenue Clerk who will provide a professional and proactive customer focussed service to maximise income for the Council.
Working as part of a team, your duties will include updating large volumes of computerised records relating to the billing and collection of sundry debt owed to the authority. In addition to this, your duties will include receiving and making out-bound calls to facilitate the collection of sundry debt as well as liaising with external recovery agents. A keen eye for detail is essential and excellent keyboard skills are required.
You will have the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and provide a high quality service when under pressure. You will need to have good time management and organisational skills, together with experience of working in a recovery based office environment and dealing with the public.
