Adult Social Care - Occupational Therapy
£29,909 - £32,233 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join us in our Hadley locality.
The role includes a range of duties, primarily focussing on the assessment of clients in their own homes for equipment or adaptation solutions.
Knowledge and experience of a range of equipment will be beneficial to the role; as would an understanding of how Occupational Therapists assess for and recommend major adaptations utilising the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG).
Other tasks will include delivering our Prevention duties as identified in the Care Act.
Candidates must be a qualified Occupational Therapist and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to their own professional development.
The post holder will be required to carry out assessments, recommend and assess with aids and equipment and to review their intervention.
They will be required to maintain a high standard of record keeping and assessment documentation as well as good verbal communication skills.
The post holder will need to be creative to consider non-traditional community solutions to improve wellbeing.
