About Us

Warwickshire County Council’s Adult and Community Learning Service provide a wide range of adult learning courses across the county. 

The Role

Staff may be required to work from bases in Nuneaton, Rugby or Leamington

We are looking for inspirational ESOL tutors to teach to join our pool of sessional tutors. It will be an exciting opportunity for you to share your knowledge and skills to enable learners to express themselves in a creative way. You will need to have an innovative approach to teaching your subject and experience of working with learners with a range of abilities, difficulties or disabilities. The current rate of pay is £16.31 per hour. One hour’s preparation and marking time is paid for every two hours of teaching. 

Key Requirements

Successful candidates are likely to be experienced teachers of adults, with a sound knowledge of how adults learn and the range of approaches that can be used to support them. You must be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and to supporting the rights and aspirations of under-represented groups.
