Administrative Officer Post 16 Support – Grade 5

We are seeking a highly effective Post-16 Administrative Officer to provide support for our large and successful Sixth Form. This important role often provides the first point of contact for parents and students; it therefore requires excellent interpersonal skills alongside the ability to communicate professionally and clearly with all stakeholders.

The post holder will work alongside the Sixth Form team to provide support for students including admissions; day-to-day matters; university applications; careers appointments and other events. A positive approach and the willingness to engage directly with students are essential.

This post is 20 hours per week term-time only, ideally Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 2:00pm, although 4 days a week would be considered. The salary scale is the Local Authority's Grade 5 (£18,391 - £19,819 per annum) pro rata. Actual salary will be approximately £8561 - £9262 per annum.
