Band B, SCP 9 – 13 (£16,755-£17,391) pro rata (£8.68 - £9.01 per hour)

Starting salary based on previous experience 

Hours of work are:

27.5 hours per week, 9am-3pm, daily.

The Principal and Governors wish to appoint three temporary Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive Team from September, 2018. 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with plenty of common sense who can ably support a child with substantial special educational needs who requires one-to-one support. The role will initially be for a 3 month period. 

A minimum of a level 2 childcare qualification is required for this role and training in basic life skills is desired. If you’re patient, calm and able to deal well with medical needs and behaviour which can be challenging, at times, then you may be the person we’re seeking. 

Previous experience of supporting children with Medical Needs and children with SEND is desirable, although full training will be provided, as necessary.
