Joining our team as an Area Planning Manager you will be primarily be involved with the determination of planning applications across a geographical area of the borough. You will lead a range of professional planners and specialists who provide additional services including some neighbourhood planning, green infrastructure and ecological services; as well as urban design and development delivery.

In addition to leading the team in delivering all the tasks a Local planning Authority would ordinarily undertake, you will promote, steer and actively contribute to the additional services provide by apT, a development consultancy providing enhanced specialist planning services to a variety of clients.

You will have excellent communication skills, and full membership of the RTPI, together with relevant experience in Development Management, having good knowledge of processes involved in planning applications and appeals.
